To briefly summarize, the teleporter can only be obtained when you are in 7th/8th place, and will immediately reposition you to behind 6th place while removing any stuns/debuffs, whereas the super fly functions similar to a water fly, but targets first place (same concept as super missile). Similarly due to when the video was created, it is missing mention of the Teleporter and Super Fly standard items which were added later on.Just consider this as a "snapshot" of how recommendations were back then. Since this video was created around Season 5/6, a lot of the "meta" karts and pets from Season 6 onward are not mentioned.In less structured formats, people can still find success not fielding a specific runner at all (such as running four War Pandas), so don't feel too constrained by general team composition.Seth/Pharaoh/Grappler) and supports (everyone else), so you can stick with that.
